Swedish massage is the classic full-body relaxation massage — long, gentle strokes, light to medium pressure, and a quiet hour to slow down. It's the most popular choice for first-time guests at our Largo spa.

What Is Swedish Massage?
Swedish massage is the most familiar style of massage in the United States — and for good reason. It uses long, gliding strokes, gentle kneading, and light to medium pressure to relax the whole body. Our friendly female therapist works with massage oil over your back, shoulders, arms, legs, and neck. Sessions are quiet, soothing, and easy to enjoy whether you're new to massage or a regular guest.
At our Largo spa, Swedish is the most common request from first-time visitors. The pressure is comfortable, the pace is unhurried, and you can speak up at any point if you'd prefer the touch to be lighter or firmer. It's the kind of session where most guests stop checking the clock about ten minutes in.
Who Is Swedish Massage Best For?
Swedish is a great fit if you want to relax, sleep better, ease general tightness, or simply slow down for an hour. It's especially good for first-timers who aren't sure what to expect, busy professionals who carry stress in their shoulders and neck, and anyone who finds deeper pressure too intense.
- First-time massage guests
- People who want light to medium pressure

What Happens During Your Session
When you walk in, you'll be greeted at the front desk and shown to a private room. Your therapist asks two simple questions: where you feel tight, and how much pressure you like. You then change in privacy and lie face-down on the table under a clean sheet, properly draped throughout. The therapist returns, warms a small amount of oil between her hands, and begins.
Most Swedish sessions follow a comfortable rhythm — back and shoulders first, then neck, arms, legs, and feet. Music is soft, lighting is low, and you're welcome to close your eyes and let yourself drift. Halfway through, you'll be asked to turn over so the front of the body can be addressed too.
How to Get the Most Out of It
Three simple things will make your Swedish massage feel even better. First, drink a glass of water before and after — hydration helps your muscles release more easily. Second, give yourself a buffer; don't book back-to-back appointments around your massage. Third, speak up. If you'd like more pressure on your shoulders, less on your legs, or quieter music, just say so. We're happy to adjust.
